Empowered by Digital Innovation
(From peopledaily.eu) On April 8, 2024, Xiao Wunan, Vice Chairman of the China Association of Social Economic & Cultural Exchange and Executive Vice Chairman of the Asia Pacific Exchange & Cooperation Foundation (APECF), along with Hans d'Orville, former Assistant Director-General of UNESCO and Co-Chairman of the Federation of World Museums, and Mehri Madarshahi, former senior UN official and Co-Chairman of the Federation of World Museums, visited the Shenzhen Cultural Property Exchange. Luo Yingdang, Deputy General Manager of the Shenzhen Cultural Property Exchange, and heads of relevant departments attended the exchange forum. Both parties conducted in-depth discussions on the cooperative development of museum construction, extension of museum resources, and digitalization of art.
Deputy General Manager Luo Yingdang stated that, following the decisions and deployments of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and other central ministries and commissions, the Shenzhen Cultural Property Exchange has established an overall strategy of empowering the cultural industry's real economy through property rights transactions. They actively promote the efficient circulation and rational allocation of cultural resources and build service connections between financial capital and cultural enterprises. Currently, the Shenzhen Cultural Property Exchange is focusing on four major areas: the China Culture Data Exchange, integrated digital services, cultural finance, and art transactions. By concentrating on market trends and seizing opportunities in industry transformation, they aim to attract and involve more upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry chain, providing digital empowerment and service guarantees for the cultural industry ecosystem. They hope to innovate collaboratively with the APECF, strengthen exchanges and interactions in art transactions and international cultural asset linkage, and provide strong support for the high-quality development of the national cultural industry.
Xiao Wunan, Executive Vice Chairman of the APECF, emphasized that since its establishment, the APECF has made significant contributions to the internationalization strategy of Chinese brands and the national "Belt and Road" initiative, achieving fruitful results and receiving numerous international honors and recognitions.
The APECF places great importance on the construction and development of museum projects. In the next phase, it hopes to explore innovative cooperation models with the Shenzhen Cultural Property Exchange, engaging in exchanges and cooperation in areas such as museum construction and resource extension, cultural digitalization, and art trading, with the aim of jointly building a diverse cultural ecosystem.
