International organization settled in Qianhai
to promote development of Greater Bay Area

 

(From chinareport.com, correspondent Li Chuanjun) At 3pm on February 6, 2021, the unveiling ceremony of standing institutions of renowned Asia Pacific Exchange & Cooperation Foundation and the Federation of World Museums was held on the 30th floor of Qianhai Shimao Tower. Wang Jinxia,Vice Director of Administration Bureau of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hongkong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone, and Xiao Wunan, Executive Vice Chairman of the Asia Pacific Exchange & Cooperation Foundation and Executive Chairman of the Federation of World Museums attended this ceremony.


Since the Shenzhen Liaison Office of the Asia Pacific Exchange & Cooperation Foundation and the Federation of World Museums officially settled in Qianhai Shimao Tower on September 30, 2020, they and XHub Space have jointly made remarkable achievements in promoting the integration of sci-tech and art and building Qianhai world museum, and played a constructive role in the internationalization of Qianhai. During the epidemic period, they also organized counsellors of the State Council, famous enterprises, cultural institutions and international organizations to go to Qianhai for discussion, investigation and exchange, contributing to the further reform and opening up of Qianhai.

Wang Jinxia expressed his warm congratulations on the opening of the Asia Pacific Exchange & Cooperation Foundation and the Federation of World Museums in Qianhai, Shenzhen. He pointed out that with the help of this platform, we would carry forward Chinese traditional culture to the world, make sustained contributions to the prosperity of mankind, and build a strategic platform for the exchange and mutual learning between Eastern and Western civilizations.


Xiao Wunan introduced that the Asia Pacific Exchange & Cooperation Foundation aims to promote exchanges and cooperation between regions and make lasting efforts and contributions to world peace and human welfare through public diplomacy, strategic research and public welfare services. Founded by the Asia Pacific Exchange & Cooperation Foundation, the Federation of World Museums aims to showcase civilizations and serve the world more widely through the promotion of exchanges and cooperation among museums, so as to promote mutual understanding among different ethnic groups and regions, and make sustained contributions to world peace and development.
