On the afternoon of June 8, 2017, Mr. Xiao Wunan, executive vice chairman of Asia Pacific Exchange & Cooperation Foundation, and colleagues received Mr. Zheng Xinli, former deputy director of the Policy Research Office of the CPC Central Committee, and his delegation at Wanshou Hotel in Beijing. Both sides had constructive discussions on future cooperation in the field of think tank and how to promote and participate in the China-US Economic 100-Day Plan and other topics, reaching on many consensus issues.


Mr. Zheng Xinli has a Master’s degree in Economics. He is researcher and former deputy director of the Policy Research Office of the CPC Central Committee. His main fields of research are macroeconomic theory and policy. He has been engaged in the research of economic theory and policy. He has original ideas in the fields of planning investment system reform, macroeconomics regulation and control, medium and long-term development policies and other fields. He has participated in the drafting of the plenary sessions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Report on the Work of the Government, the 8th Five-year Plan, the 9th Five-year Plan, the 10th Five-year Plan and the 11th Five-year Plan. He served as deputy director of the China International Economic Exchange Center in April 2009. In May 2014, he was named by The Economist Weekly as one of the 10 famous economists of “Economists in 2013”.
