AEPCF Executive Chairman Xiao Wunan meets people from all walks of life
in New York

November 25 (usqiaobao.com) – An APECF delegation led by APECF Executive Chairman Xiao Wunan visited public policy and cultural institutions in New York and Washington DC, and attended the 70th Anniversary of the United Nations Commemorative Photo Exhibition organized by the Gabarron Foundation (149 E.38th St) which was co-founded by the United Nations and Spanish artist Gabarron.


Mr. Chaim Litewski, Chief of Television at NMD, and Mr. Juan Gabarron, Chairman of the Gabarron Foundation, welcomed Mr. Xiao Wunan and briefed him about the commemorative photo exhibition and their plans in China next year. APECF will co-host this exhibition in China.


Mr. Chaim Litewski said that on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the United Nations, dozens of historical representative photos were selected from U.N. archives for this commemorative photo exhibition. The exhibition will be held in many cities around the world including the Hague in the Netherlands, New York, Madrid in Spain, and Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, in China. Mr. Litewski said many of the photos were taken in China by U.N. staff.


Mr. Xiao Wunan said APECF pledged support for this international exhibition. Meanwhile, through this exhibition APECF hopes to promote people-to-people exchanges between China and the United States and among people of other countries.


Mr. Xiao Wunan also visited members of Congress of both parties, party leaders of the Democratic Party and the Republican Party, and RAND Corp. He also met Hillary’s campaign team which was preparing for the U.S. presidential election in 2016. He visited NBC TV station and gave an interview in Los Angeles.
