October 26 (www.ouliannews.com) - The week-long the 51st International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival drew to a close at the Antalya EXPO Center. Antalya Mayor Turel, APECF Executive Chairman Mr. Xiao Wunan, Russian tycoon Mr. Telman Ismailov, Hollywood action star Mr. Jean-Claude Van Damme, and movie stars, directors, producers, officials, and businessmen attended the film festival.
The International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival has the longest history of any film festival not noly in Turkey but also in Europe and Asia. Mr. Xiao Wunan attended the film festival's activities at the invitation of Antalya Mayor Turel, promoting cultural exchanges and film cooperation between China and Turkey.
Mr. Xiao Wunan said a majority of Chinese film makers paid attention to the Cannes International Film Festival and the Venice International Film Festival. Few noticed the International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, but which Western film makers showed great interested in. Antalya is a rare, indispensable important platform for Chinese film makers if they are to go global.
