APECF delegation visits France
Mr Xiao Wunan, executive vice chairman of the Asia Pacific Exchange & Cooperation Foundation, led an APECF delegation and visited France from April 26 to 28, at the invitation of the Chinese Embassy in France and French institutions.
During the visit, Mr. Xiao Wunan exchanged views with Embassy personnel on APECF’s promotion of and participation in events marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France.
Promoting Sino-French film and cultural cooperation as well as exchanges is APECF’s focus this year. Mr Xiao Wunan and the delegation paid courtesy calls on Mr Jacques Rougerie, a permanent member of the Institut de France, former finance minister Mr. Edmond Alphandery and Michael Burke, global chairman of France’s LVMH. The exchanges were constructive and consensus was reached.
