At the invitation of UK-based IMAN Foundation, APECF Executive Vice Chairman Mr. Xiao Wunan attended the IMAN Middle East dinner discussion" at the Four Seasons Hotels in Beijing on October 23, 2013.

Former Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Honorary Chairman of the China-Middle East Association Mr. Yang Fuchang, IMAN Foundation Chairman Ribal Al-Assad and Chinese and foreign diplomats attended the dinner. The participants discussed and exchanged ideas on various challenges, including future peace and development and the issue of extremism.

Mr. Zhang met several executives of top financial institutions in New York and invited them to invest in Qianhai. In addition, he will visit Chicago to discuss cooperation regarding futures market and learn the operational experience of Toronto's social security fund. Ms. Davis, Mr. Xiao Wunan, Executive Vice Chairman of the Asia Pacific Exchange and Cooperation Foundation, and Mr. Zhao Linghuan, President of Capital, also addressed the symposium and expressed their support and confidence for Qianhai's development.
