At the invitation of Foundation Jacques Rougerie, APECF Executive Vice President Xiao Wunan attended a gala dinner at the French navy site in Paris on the evening of October 3, 2013. 

Mr. Jacques Roger, founder and president of the Foundation, attended the dinner and delivered a speech.

In recognition of Mr. Xiao's efforts at promoting economic, social and cultural cooperation and exchanges between China and France, Jacques Roger bestowed the title of "honorary ambassador" on Mr. Xiao.

Prince Albert II of Monaco, French chief of naval staff Admiral Bernard Rogel, former NASA director Daniel S. Goldin and other dignitaries and celebrities attended the dinner.
