APECF representative attended the 3rd World Buddhist Forum upon invitation

The Third World Buddhist Forum, jointly organized by the Buddhist Association of China, the Hong Kong Buddhist Association and the China Religious Culture Communication Association, was held from April 25 to 27 at the Hong Kong Coliseum. Buddhist monks and academicians from more than 50 countries and regions all over the world attended the event. Representatives from South Korea, Japan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, etc., delivered speeches in succession and expressed congratulations to the opening of the forum.

 

Mr. Gopal Kirati, the Minister of Ministry of Federal Affairs, Parliamentary Affairs, Constituent Assembly and Culture of Nepal and Mr. Xiao Wunan, the Executive Vice Chairman of Asia Pacific Exchange and Cooperation Foundation attended the opening ceremony upon invitation.

 

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon sent letter of congratulations to the forum upon the invitation from Mr. Colin Heseltine, the Co-Chairman of Asia Pacific Exchange and Cooperation Foundation.
