The APECF delegation visits United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia upon invitation

On November 28, 2011, Executive Vice Chairman of Asia Pacific Exchange & Cooperation Foundation (APECF) Xiao Wunan, Deputy Secretary-General Gong Tingyu, Assistant Liu Wei and former Deputy Assistant Secretary of U.S. Department of Commerce John Huang, visited Dubai and Riyadh upon invitation. In Dubai, Mr. Abdullah, Vice Chairman of the Foundation and well-known financier in the Middle East, held several meetings to discuss and arrange the Foundation’s future development, signed a Memorandum of Understanding and planned on setting up representative office in Dubai in the near future.

 

On December 1st, the delegation held extensive meetings in Riyadh, the Capital of Saudi Arabia, with Saudi Industrial Fund, industrial and commercial representatives and religious people. They constructively discussed Sino-Arabian bilateral cultural exchanges, Chinese enterprises’ participation in Saudi’s construction and the promotion of further cooperation in other sectors. The talks achieved fruitful results.
