Australian Broadcasting Corporation Chairman Visits Beijing

On the afternoon of October 24th, 2011, Mr. Xiao Wunan, Executive Vice President of Asia Pacific Exchange & Cooperation Foundation (APECF), had a meeting with Doctor Maurice Newman, Chairman of the Board of Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) at St. Regis Hotel in Beijing.

They broadly exchanged views on how ABC would play a positive role in the construction of China’s future national soft power and the promotion of Chinese culture to the world, reached a high level of agreement, and established intentions for further cooperation.
