Co-Chairman of APECF Steven Clark Rockefeller Jr. visits Beijing
In mid-March 2011, Co-Chairman of APECF Steven C. Rockefeller Jr. led a delegation to Beijing to visit relevant Chinese government agencies as well as the Tianjin Development Zone. Mr. Rockefeller also delivered a keynote speech at Tsinghua University.

On March 13th, Tan Sri Tiong Hiew King, Co-Chairman of APECF and Executive Chairman of Rimbunan Hijau Group hosted a reception banquet in honor of Mr. Rockefeller’s delegation. Over twenty people from the State Council, the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), financial system, and enterprises in Beijing were invited to attend the banquet.
On March 16th, the Beijing Secretariat of APECF and Beijing Municipal Culture Bureau held a welcome cocktail party at the JW Marriott hotel. More than fifty prominent people from Beijing’s cultural, artistic, and other fields gathered for extensive, candid, and constructive discussion on key topics of mutual interest.
On March 17th, the Rockefeller delegation visited the Forbidden City upon the invitation of the Forbidden City Museum.
