Steven Clark Rockefeller, Jr. visits the APECF Beijing Secretariat

Steven Rockefeller Jr., a member of the influential Rockefeller family and a Co-Chairman of APECF, visited the foundation’s Beijing secretariat and met its leaders on the morning of Oct 23, 2010.

Gao Qing, Secretary-General and Ge Chen, Deputy Secretary-General, warmly welcomed Mr. Rockefeller and gave an introduction of APECF Beijing Secretariat as well as hosted a welcome dinner in honor of his delegation.

The Rockefeller Family has had a profound influence in American history and deep friendship with China. As co-chairman of APECF, Steve Rockefeller Jr. came to China this time to congratulate on the establishment of the APECF Beijing Secretariat and discuss its further development. He points out with confidence that the open platform APECF has created will promote exchanges and cooperation in this region. Together with APECF, he would like to exert the influence of his family to contribute to the revival of the Eastern civilization, world peace, and human welfare.
